Coronovirus Poem

I heard them whisper it is on course
To devastate with such a force
What can we do?
It's not by choice
It's bringing fear
And changed the world or so I hear

While Bodies drop and has not stopped
We have loved and lost
At such a cost
It leaves us empty ,we can't defend
This war against this unknown fiend
And look for answers we can't find

Let's quickly search to find a cure
And stop the virus that is a curse
It's brought the world to its knees
As nations fall and trading ceases
Observe the notices and endure
It is a call, be safe,secure

Let's try to cope with this strange danger
That has become a life changer
Its gripped the world,an epidemic
That is also known as a pandemic
United now without a plan
We are trying to do the best we can

No matter what may come our way
We 'll change,adapt and will portray
A united front and cast away
This deadly virus that has come to slay
Maybe someday we'll write a play
On how we chased this virus away
